Delete your Kept account

1. Delete it in the app

This works the same on iPhone, Android, and the web at kept.cards.

1. Open Kept and sign in.
2. Open Settings (the gear icon).
3. Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete Account.
4. Kept offers to export a backup first. Then confirm.

Your account and everything listed below is deleted immediately.

2. Or ask us to delete it

If you can't use the app, email hello@lihallc.com from the email address you sign in to Kept with, with the subject Delete my Kept account. We will delete it within 30 days and confirm by email.

3. What is deleted

• Your Kept account and sign-in record.
• Every card you saved: all photos of the front and inside, and their thumbnails.
• Everything attached to your cards: senders, recipients, dates, occasions, transcripts and translations.
• Any backup file still waiting to be downloaded.
• Your sharing: people you invited lose access at once, and your access to archives others shared with you ends.
• The record of whether you subscribe to Kept Unlimited.

4. What is kept, and for how long

• Cards others shared with you stay in their owners' archives. They belong to those people, not to your account.
• Server logs that may contain your account ID are kept for up to 30 days, then deleted automatically.
• Payment and subscription records are held by the store you paid through (Apple, Google Play or Paddle) and by our subscription service, RevenueCat, under their own retention rules, and by us only where tax or accounting law requires it.

5. Deleting some data but keeping your account

You can delete any single card from its view (tap the card, then Delete), and edit or clear its transcript. It is removed from your archive, and from anyone you share with, at once.
